Alice Price-Vermeulen
I have had a lifelong interest in art - playing, researching and experimenting along the way. More recently, since relocating to St. Thomas from London, I have been enjoying Mixed Media, using mediums to provide texture and certain effects in my paintings, whether acrylic or oil. I've also been exploring the medium of Collage, helpfully nurtured and encouraged by 'Eclectic Collage Collective', the London group I belong to.
I am a proud member of the St. Thomas Art Guild and the Lambeth Art Association and have found these groups to be stimulating and encouraging. Ongoing education through attending classes, workshops, examining the work of other artists and visiting galleries in person and online, help me develop as an artist. I feel that my life and my work is enriched by this independent study, and the process of creating.
My style is my own and recognizable for it's colour, shapes, and design and my greatest joy is when someone says to me that they came back to look time and time again!
