Kelly McNeil's Studio
I have been a Wildlife Artist for about 25 years, and have shown my work internationally as far away as Tasmania, Russia and the USA. To me a painting has to capture the drama and personality of the subject. I have learned so much about the natural world since studying wildlife, I have discovered an abundance of wildlife even in my own backyard like Deer, Blue Herons, Night Herons, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Red Tailed Hawks and the Owls in Gibbons Park here in London. In the summer I am off to Cape Breton to visit my parents and more wildlife like Bald Eagles, King Fishers Coyotes, Loons and Whales, Puffins just to name a few.
My current passion is painting animals in water I love the abstract quality of reflections, shadows and the pulse of the sea”. I take pride in every piece I produce and strives to learn and perfect my technique as I continues to explore the natural world around me.. |
