LINDA CROSS
Linda Cross, a lifelong St. Thomas resident, took a meandering pathway to painting, expressing her innate creative passion over the years through sewing, home decorating, creative writing, music, both vocal and instrumental, and floral design.
Finally, at retirement, Linda began to experience the joy and peacefulness of watercolour painting.
As a respite from a heavy and ongoing caregiver role, she found painting to be a healing, calming and rewarding challenge. Linda is fascinated with the beauty in nature, especially drawn to the graceful flow og a living tree, the intriguing depth of a single blook, the unmatched glory of a setting sun.
As a senior, with deteriorating vision, Linda has been ecited to start learning about the endless possibilities for digital art expressions.
It as been encouraging to find new methods that not only inspire learning, but make it more possible to cope with low vision, while still experiencing the joy of creating.
