Exploring the natural world of Ontario’s forests is how Mary spent her growing up years. She began painting after her first magical trip to Algonquin Park. Her enduring enthusiasm for Canada’s landscape continues to flourish. Mary paints at her Algonquin summer place as well as in her SW Ontario studio. Her paintings invite you to remember our intimate connection with Mother Nature. Mary's landscapes brighten the walls of galleries across Canada, many private collections, and are also featured in her published books which have won awards such as the International White Raven Award and the National Outdoor Book Award.
