Although most of my education has been in the fields of science and mathematics, I have always been fascinated by visual art. Especially abstract art. To me, mathematics and visual art are both languages that attempt to convey concepts for which words do not exist or for which words are inadequate. My personal artistic journey began as a member of THE CANADIAN EMBROIDERERS GUILD in London, Ontario. There I enjoyed a creative and supportive community for 20 years. In the last decade I have become interested in painting. Watercolours primarily. I love experimenting with colour, pattern, layering...
