I am a nature and people watcher. I use that to put life and what happens around me into a picture. I mostly work in oils on canvas and capture that in a wooden frame unless it calls for freedom and I paint sides as well. I have shown and sold in Middlesex, Kent, Bruce and Elgin counties mostly. I have always sketched but the introduction of mediums has lead me to appreciate the trueness of oil in colour, texture and blending ability. I have just scratched the surface of knowledge and possibilities to enjoy planning my next canvas. |
