In 2023, Tricia was thrilled to have her first solo show at The RBC Place in downtown London called Tree Energy: A Painted Series Giving Voice to Trees Her recognizable style is painterly and expressive. She loves colour and the exciting effects of brushstrokes, mark-making and the opportunity to show rhythm, texture and mood. Working with colour energizes her and she is always striving to create an overall composition that is interesting and encourages the eye to travel within its space. Tricia loves to get creative with a variety of mediums such as acrylics, oils and creates collages with layers of photographs and watercoloured papers. |
Tricia has lived for 25 years in London with rural Southern Ontario roots and has alway maintained a strong connection with her hometown of Port Dover. Growing up in Norfolk County near the shores of Lake Erie fostered a passion for nature, farmland and our Great Lakes. Tricia explores these themes with the intent to give voice to the natural world around her.
She studied Fine Art and Education at UWO and Graphic Design at Conestoga College, Kitchener.
