HENI DYKSTRA
Heni Dykstra is a largely self taught artist living in London for the past 20 years, by way of Toronto and Hamilton. Extensive travels, nature and family and friends have molded and stimulated her creative spirit in many ways over the years. Having enjoyed knitting, embroidery, crocheting and Zentangle®️, Heni seized the opportunity during the pandemic to start to put paint to paper and canvas.
Colour and shapes, using primarily the medium of acrylic paint, inform Heni's art. Lynda Burns has been a mentor and friend in pursuing these artistic endeavours. Opportunities for learning have been and will continue to be sought especially if it combines with travel.
Heni is delighted to be a member of the St Thomas Art Guild.
